Wiccan Life

I have had the idea to create this image for a while now. It is just fairly recently when I decided to sit down and put some effort into it. This image gave me a really hard time. I was about halfway through completing it and I had not saved any of it by that point and my GIMP program crashed. I lost it all and had to start over from scratch. This project frustrated me to the max, and I had to walk away from it several times, but it was a great challenge for me. I overcame and learned a lot.

This piece of art was created entirely from stock images and the short version of the Wiccan Rede. Imagine, people coming together from all different walks of life, meeting in the forest to pray and dance. That is the intention of this piece. If you see something else, I would love to get your opinions.

I have listed this as a print due to the amount of my own personal time I spent creating this image. I know that none of the photos or words are mine, but all of the work (transparency, cropping, cutting, pasting, different coloring and hues, etc.) I am a full time college student in real life and have just begun a new quarter. I believe this is my best piece of work yet. I asked permission from every artist to post this as a print, and I was granted the permission. I hope you enjoy, and it catches a nerve or emotion for you. Please, let me know what you think.
